Hola chicas! Despite staying holed up in the crib and almost as we crossed into the new year, it's been a great day in so far and the year looks decidedly promising. We cut up and ate the cake we made from a happy concoction of too little crumbs and too much butter and of course it ended up way too buttery. Clearly to bake more and better is an item on my to do list this year! Other items include to do more things that make me happy, to travel more and to live well. January for me entails more meetings with the BFFs who are currently in the land of smiles, a new adventure somewhere familiar, the start of learning a new language and also the commencement of a new semester in the university once again.
