Hello! Spring has begun officially here, with the midnight clock striking and the sudden disappearance of friendly breezes. If you had wanted to bask in the celebrations, you should have been at Chinatown! I'm never much of a crowdie (self-invented to denote a person who loves being a crowded places), but to visit the Chinatown market once a year is definitely a must-do! Apart from the festivities there, the day resembled a mild apocalypse  - stores were closed and streets were empty. Are there any places you'd rather be for the Lunar New Year holidays? For me, just once, I'd like to be in either London or Vancouver, just to take a peek into how the Chinese abroad celebrate their New Year! Till then, X.
