We traipsed like happy troopers to the newer part of the Botanic Gardens yesterday, with me lugging an enormous serving of linguine. The eco pond side was relatively more clean cut than the older portions of the gardens and we had a joyful time devouring pasta, cookies, sandwiches and alphabet soup in one of the massive unoccupied shelters there. We played monopoly deal for a while under the eyes of curious tourists, of which I think one of them took a picture of us playing cards. After that we fed the baby ducklings and watched a pigeon parade. Then we left for the airport where we took random photobooth pictures before we settled for fried chicken. Good days, good days.x
